How often should I see a dental hygienist?
Our in-house dental therapists have specialised in keeping your teeth and gums healthy by helping prevent a build-up of plaque (constantly forming sticky film of bacteria).
Plaque is the main cause for gum disease. The symptoms of gum disease are sore or bleeding gums and bad breath.
If left untreated, gum disease can eventually lead to tooth loss.

As well as cleaning teeth what do hygienists do?
Our dental hygienists and therapists can address several issues, and specialise in the following treatments:
Scaling and polishing teeth
Preventative care for gum disease
Deep clean airflow treatment
Advice on how to care for your teeth well at home
